NEW DELHI – HMD Global has announced the presence of Nokia 8.1 Android One in India. First launched last week in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Nokia 8.1 is a global variant of the Nokia X7 that was first introduced in China recently.
With a price of more than Rp. 5.8 million in the Middle East smartphone market, the price of Nokia 8.1 in India is only set at Rp. 5.4 million. Consumers there can pre-order in online and offline stores, but official mobile phones are in stores starting December 21, 2018.
Reporting from the Giz China page, Tuesday (11/12/2018) mentions uncertain when Nokia 8.1 can be launched in other countries’ markets. Some reports say the device greeted Europe on January 14, 2019 at a price of around Rp. 6.6 million.
The stylish design makes people think that the Nokia 8.1 is the most attractive smartphone ever made by HMD Global as Nokia’s license holder. This device is coated in series 6 aluminum-magnesium and the rear glass has a 6.3-inch screen.
This phone is supported by HDR10 with a screen resolution of 2160×1440. Unlike X7, Nokia 8.1 has a Snapdragon 710 chipset plus 4 GB RAM and 64 GB Internal Memory, if you are not satisfied you can upgrade up to 400 GB via MicroSD.
