Sales of Mitsubishi Xpander More than 115,000 Units
Jakarta – Since making its global debut at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) exhibition on August 10, 2017, the dominance of Mitsubishi Xpander in the market for the Small Multi Purpose Vehicle (Small-MPV) segment is very strong.
Seen from passionate sales. in fact, at the beginning of 2018 yesterday it had seized the throne as the best-selling car of its rival, the Toyota Avanza.
So, how many Xpander has been sold by Mitsubishi since it was first launched?
Through its official broadcast, Mitsubishi announces more than 115,000 units of total order numbers in December 2018.
“Xpander as the flagship small-MPV of Mitsubishi Motors has received very good acceptance. This is inseparable from the suitability of the design, features, performance and convenience offered by the needs and desires of the Indonesian people,” said Director of Sales & Marketing Division of PT MMKSI, Irwan Kuncoro.

Irwan said that 2018 was an important year for Xpander’s socialization to the public, and in 2019 MMKSI was committed to continuing to continue the success of Xpander’s activities, achievements and contributions and to improve the best service for consumers and the people of Indonesia.
Xpander is currently assembled at the Mitsubishi assembly plant located in the industrial area of GIIC Deltamas, Bekasi, West Java. Not only for the domestic market, but also for the export market which began in April 2018 to the Philippines as the first export destination in the ASEAN region.
Along with the high demand in Indonesia and the ASEAN region, Mitsubishi also plans to continue to increase production capacity with a target of reaching 150,000 units in fiscal 2019.
