After months of rumors, now finally HMD Global officially introduces the Nokia 9 PureView at the MWC 2019, Barcelona. The Nokia 9 PureView is the first smartphone to have five rear cameras!

The five rear cameras on the Nokia 9 PureView all have 12 MP resolution lenses with an f / 1.8 aperture and Carl ZEISS sensors. Three cameras are RGB lenses and the other two are monochrome lenses.

The design of the fifth position of the rear camera of the Nokia 9 PureView is also unique, arranged in a circle adjacent to the Flash LED and the ToF (Time-of-Flight) sensor for the effect of the depth of the photo.

Besides ZEISS, Nokia also collaborates with Light, a digital photography company from the United States. Nokia uses Light’s Lux Capacitor chip to control the functions of these five Nokia 9 PureView cameras.

The combination of the five Nokia 9 PureView cameras can produce photos with a better dynamic range, more detail, sharper, amazing low-light, and a more dramatic bokeh effect with the ability to shoot up to 1200 Layer.

The camera on the Nokia 9 PureView can also produce RAW format images, so users can “mess with” the image as desired.

In addition, the Nokia 9 PureView is also equipped with the Nokia Pro Camera UI feature that allows to see camera adjustments in real-time, such as adjusting exposure levels. Users can also customize it directly through the Google Photos application.

As for the front camera, the Nokia 9 PureView is equipped with a 20 MP selfie camera.

In terms of appearance, the Nokia 9 PureView carries a pOLED PureView Display screen measuring 5.9 inches with Quad HD resolution (2880 x 1440 pixels) with an aspect ratio of 18: 9. This smartphone screen also has HDR10 support and also has a fingerprint sensor embedded on the screen.

The smartphone body is also made of aluminum and coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 in the front and back and has an IP67 certification so that it can withstand water and dust.

To support its performance, the Nokia 9 PureView is powered by Snapdragon 845 processor, GPU Adreno 630, 6GB RAM, 128GB internal memory, pure Android 9.0 Pie OS, and 3220 mAh capacity battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0 via USB-Type-C and Qi Wireless Charging .

Well, speaking of price, HMD Global will sell this Nokia 9 PureView at a price of USD 699 or around Rp. 9.8 million and will be available in Midnight Blue colors. Reportedly, the Nokia 9 PureView will be available on the market starting in March 2019.
