Sony exhibits Xperia 1, the first smartphone with a screen ratio of 21: 9
In the MWC 2019 event held in Barcelona, Spain, Sony made a surprise with the release of Sony Xperia 1. This latest flagship smartphone is the successor to the Xperia XZ Premium series.
One of the most interesting things, the Xperia 1 comes with a 6.5 inch OLED screen and the highest aspect ratio for now, which is 21: 9, so it is claimed to be very comfortable to use for watching cinematic format films. While the screen resolution reaches 4K (3840 x 1644 pixels) with HDR (BT.2020) support, Triluminos display, and X-Reality Engine.
For business audio, Sony complements the Xperia 1 with Dolby Atmos technology on stereo speakers (earpiece speakers and lower speakers).
In the photography sector, Xperia 1 is equipped with three rear cameras consisting of a lens (telephoto 12 MP, f / 2.4, OIS) + (wide-angle 12 MP, f / 1.6, OIS) + (ultra wide-angle 12 MP, f /2.4). While the front camera has 8 MP resolution (f / 2.4).
The performance of Xperia 1 is powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor which combines 6GB RAM, 128GB internal memory, microSD slot support up to 512GB, Android 9.0 Pie OS, and 3330 mAh battery capacity with 18W fast charging support, wireless charging, and Battery Care and Smart Stamina features developed by Sony.

Not to forget, Sony also provides a protective glass of Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on the front and rear of the Xperia 1 body.
Too bad, even though it was officially introduced, but Sony hasn’t revealed the price of this Xperia 1. But they say if this smartphone will be available around the middle of this year.
