iQOO Vivo Gaming Smartphone Officially Released

Some time ago, Vivo officially released its first gaming smartphone called iQOO. And just for info, iQOO itself is a new sub-brand from Vivo which stands for “I Quest On and On”.

Just like other gaming smartphones, iQOO also has high-end specifications to support its performance in playing mobile games.

iQOO is powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor and has four configuration variants of RAM and internal memory, namely 6GB / 128GB, 8GB / 128GB, 8GB / 256GB, and the highest variant of 12GB / 256GB.

This gaming smartphone runs the Android 9.0 Pie OS with the Funtouch OS 9 interface and is supported by a 4000 mAh capacity battery with support for fast charging 44W, specifically for the 6GB / 128GB variant which only supports fast charging 22.5W.

In terms of design, iQOO carries a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen Full HD + resolution with a screen-to-body ratio reaching 91.7% and has a notch waterdrop for the 12 MP front camera module.

While on the rear panel there is a LED light “Halo Light Strip” which will automatically turn on when the user has successfully completed a certain level while playing the game. There are two color choices available for iQOO, namely Electro-optic Blue and Lava Orange.

In the photography sector, iQOO is equipped with a triple-camera rear which has 12 MP resolution, Sony IMX363 sensor + 13 MP wide-angle + 2 MP depth sensor.

As a gaming smartphone, of course iQOO is equipped with various supporting features to pamper gamers. Among them are the Turbo Center and the Turbo Game which prioritizes the system resources for gaming purposes.

Multi Turbo to offer a better gaming experience, AI Turbo to improve game performance, Net Turbo for transferring connections from Wi-Fi to cellular data when playing games, Cooling Turbo so that the device doesn’t get hot while playing games, and finally there is a button specifically gaming which is located on the side of the device.

In addition, iQOO is also equipped with 4D 2.0 gaming audio. This feature will increase haptic feedback and surround sound audio while playing games.

Other features included include fingerprint sensors inside the screen, NFC connectivity and Jovi Virtual Assistant.

With a myriad of gaming features, Vivo also announced if iQOO became the official smartphone for King Pro League (KPL).

8GB / 128GB variant: 3298 Yuan (Rp. 7 millions)
8GB / 256GB variant: 3598 Yuan (IDR 7.6 million)
12GB / 256GB variant: 4298 Yuan (Rp. 9 million)

Reportedly, the new iQOO will be sold in China starting March 6 through a number of local online sites. There is no information about its availability globally.
