‘Spider-Man: Far from Home’ brought Peter Parker’s trip to Europe with his school friends. An event led him to meet Nick Fury who recruited him on a mission.
It is believed there is involvement of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ as well as ‘Infinity War’. Previously known Parker in a condition that was exhausted facing Thanos who was so strong with a row of infinity stones in his hand.
Some details were revealed through the first trailer of ‘Far from Home’ this time. Here are some of them.
1. Background to the story of ‘Spider-Man: Far from Home’
Peter Parker previously vanished in the ‘Infinity War’ story. However, Marvel Studios seems to have a long plan for Spider-Man as well as the Black Panther which is planned to be part of the second.
So the event that eliminated half the population seems to have no effect on this character. Previously the producer of ‘Spider-Man’ revealed ‘Far from Home’ took place a few minutes after the ‘Avengers: Endgame’ event.
Previously both Sony producer Amy Pascal and Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige said the sequel to ‘Spider-Man’ adjusted the timeline right at the MCU. Initially the sequel will come in 2020.
However, quoting Feige who said ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ took place after Peter’s adventure in ‘Civil War’, the sequel took place after ‘Avengers 4’ ended.
“What we are focusing on is that we are focusing on Spider-Man who started in ‘Civil War’ and then has his own film. His presence continues in the Avengers movie. And we started the story just minutes after ‘Avengers 4’ was finished,” said Amy Pascal as quoted by Fandom . Can be interpreted the appearance of Spider-Man and Nick Fury brought back to continue the mission to protect the earth. Even so, in the trailer it was not shown a traumatic event like what the two experienced.
2. Meet first time with Nick Fury
Foto: Marvel StudiosThe initial trailer teaser ‘Far from Home’ was also the prime moment for Peter Parker with Nick Fury. Presumably this became the next step for Parker after Tony Stark gave him the blessing to join the Avengers.
At that first meeting too, Nick Fury gave advice to Parker: You got gifts, Parker. But you have a job to do, are you going to step up or not?
Fury revealed that Parker’s super power capabilities must be useful in eradicating crime.
3. Will Iron Man appear?
Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) plays an important role in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’. He provided moral support to provide Peter Parker’s needs as a superhero, one of which was a sophisticated costume worn.
But it is not yet known whether Stark will also take part in ‘Far from Home’. ‘Far from Home’ instead brought Happy Hogan, Tony Stark’s right hand in ‘Homecoming’ was assigned to watch Peter Parker on probation to become a superhero.
It’s possible that Tony has died in the process of bringing Peter and the other heroes back at the end of the ‘Endgame’. Or maybe Tony survived but retired as Iron Man, remembering that Happy entered the film with a fantastic negative check for charity at the start of the trailer. Iron Man’s appearance is still a question.
4. Is Mysterio a villain?
Jake Gyllenhaal, who had auditioned to play Spider-Man himself in the era of Tobey Maguire. Now he takes part in Spider-Man’s story as Mysterio.
In the trailer, his appearance is similar to that of a hero who dispels a water monster.
Mysterio, also known as Quentin Beck, is one of the original Spider-Man villains and often appears at Sinister Six, a group of Spidey villains who eventually join forces to defeat the superhero. Quentin’s background was that he was a magician who often became a stuntman and then felt dissatisfied when he could not realize his desire as a movie star. In the early Spider-man comic story he decides to fight Spider-Man to gain fame.
5. Spider-Man’s new costume
Spider-Man got some new suits in this film. This red-black version was similar in its comics in the 1990s. The wings are part of Steve Ditko’s original Spider-Man design which is little known.
